Every time that we go the the grocery store we get a 2 pack of the compact fluorescent light bulbs. I've replaced 8 of the regular bulbs so far. A 15 watt fluorescent is as bright as a 60 watt regular bulb. There are only 6 more to go...

I can never seem to spell "recipe". I always ad an extra "i". i.e. recipie.
It seems like the plot of a particularly far-fetched horror film. But some scientists suggest that our love of the mobile phone could cause massive food shortages, as the world’s harvests fail.
They are putting forward the theory that radiation given off by mobile phones and other hi-tech gadgets is a possible answer to one of the more bizarre mysteries ever to happen in the natural world - the abrupt disappearance of the bees that pollinate crops.
It seems like I always covering for someone or doing some other person’s job at work. It would be nice to just be able to do my own stuff. It’s pretty slow at work so it’s not too bad though.
Tomorrow is Easter and I finally get to have coffee again. I gave it up for Lent and have been really missing it. I substituted it with tea but I was going through 2 quarts of iced tea a day!
Everyone in the front of the building at work is getting moved around the building. We are moving next to the accounting department (probably sometime next week). All of this is because they are trying to make room for the new VP/General mananger and the new VP of sales.
We are finally getting our printer back after about a month without it. It has been a pain in the butt having to print to the main copier (which jams all of the time). It will be nice to have that back.
Well, for Lent I decided to give up drinking coffee. I usually have 2 or 3 cups at work and them another at home. So far so good. I haven’t had any weird side effects yet other then being a little sleepy. But it’s only been 1 day, we’ll see how it goes in a few days.

There is a bunch of stuff going to be going on here at work in the next few weeks or so. They just finished installing time clocks at each door and we will also be able to punch in/out at
our computers. I think they are going to get a whole lot of overtime from everyone. A know alot of people that work extra hours now and don’t write it down on the time sheets that we use now because they are not allowed to work overtime. With this new system it will record the times we work excactly.
Also everyone is geting moved around the building. I will soon be in the conference room. I think that they are trying to group all of the managers together.
Our General manager is VP of something or other. So that position has to be filled. We are getting automation for Master Control. News just got a new control room and a new satellite/live truck.
Now all I have to do is to get them to switch to Macs.
We went to the Panthers vs. Devils game tonight at the Bank Atlantic Center down in Sunrise, FL. It was a birthday present from my wife and daughter. We had really good seats (13 rows from the ice) right behind the goal. You could see and hear the players. I could actually see their faces. The seats we usually get are up in the nose-bleed section, you can see the game pretty good from up there (it’s the same view that you get to see on TV), but being down lower makes it feel like your almost in the game. Now I’m not gonna want to sit way up there again.
During the second intermission my wife told me to look up at the scoreboard. She had called and had them put “Happy Birthday Shugarbear love Sweetpea and Paradis” on it. That was really cool.
The Panthers went on to win the game 4 to 2.
For dinner tonight I made a meatball recipe from the Williams-Sonoma website. The meatballs were stuffed with mozzarella cheese. They were so so so so good. I can’t wait to have them again as meatball sandwiches.
